Over the last year I’ve been trying to figure out what direction to take. THINGS I DID THROUGH THE DEVELOPMENT process FOR RELIGIOUS PURPOSES

I gave up alcohol for life

My goal was to just go forward with the best of intentions. Even though people don’t know how to interpret this admission. I ran into the devil 4 years ago. As a result, I became like a modern day version of “Job” from the Bible. So I was made a legitimate Christian through suffering with Christ. I was torn down to my foundation. Dug deep to the bedrock of Christ. Made God the foundation of my heart. Over these past years I have suffered with the lamb of God. “He who loves his life will lose it, he who loses his life for Christ will find it.” As a result I became dead to sin and alive in Christ. Being a Christian ended up being really hard.

So what happened?

Sometimes you inadvertently make yourself an enemy. I thought working hard and doing my best would be a good thing. In life we all make mistakes and I’m no exception. This just ended up being an insane circumstance. For example, every single day I pray for the full armor of God to stand against the schemes of the Devil as mentioned in Ephesians 6:11. There are several verses in the Bible that have utility to use against Satan. Sadly he has the ability to encircling you and it becomes more like a waiting game. As a result you endure prolonged periods of suffering with Christ. The promise of God is in 1st Peter 5:10 (“And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.”) After years of let downs and setbacks, I pray that Jesus will see me through. Obviously, I get confused by all of this stuff. Yet, I do my best to stay faithful in God.
